Abstract

The development of science and technology is increasingly rapid, demanding changes in all aspects of education because the role of education plays an important role in improving human resources, because the progress of a nation can be achieved through good education. This result is proven by the average class value in pre-cycle learning from 34 students, 22 students or 65% of their scores are below KKM, 12 students or 35% of their scores are above KKM, the average class obtained is 72.95. Cycle I obtained scores from 34 students, 15 students or 44% of their scores are below KKM, 19 students or 56% above KKM, the average class obtained is 80.39. Cycle II obtained scores from 34 students, 6 students or 18% of their scores were below KKM, 28 students or 82% above KKM, the average class obtained was 85.24, pre-cycle with scores above KKM 35% change to cycle I to 56% with an increase in KKM scores of 20%, from cycle I to cycle II with an increase in scores above KKM 25%, from cycle II 82%, while pre-cycle with scores below KKM 65% Change to cycle I to 44% with a decrease in scores below KKM 20% from cycle I to cycle II with a decrease in scores below KKM 25%. from cycle II 82%, From pre-cycle learning to cycle II significant results are seen. It can be concluded that learning using the talking stick method can improve student learning outcomes in class IX - 1 at SMP ARSYADA, Citeureup District, Bogor Regency.
