Abstract

Children are the mainstay of both parents and also the hope of the nation and state, therefore parents, teachers, and society must be able to guide and direct children from an early age until they are independent. The role of Islamic religious education for students at the Tlajung Udik 02 elementary school certainly plays a role in improving moral morals which are increasingly experiencing moral decline, losing essential values ​​swallowed by the strong current of globalization. Good education is one with a high level of discipline, so that a perfect personality is formed in terms of physical and mental. Having a discourse of thinking and finding solutions to face the future is all due to an adequate education system, meaning that all facilities and infrastructure support each other, one and the same, both the curriculum, media instruments, the environment, and so on. Until it produces humans who are aware of Islam that what they get and produce is a gift from Allah SWT and he makes them obedient in worship. To realize the noble ideals of education, it certainly requires an effort and work as well as togetherness among us. With the basic principles, wishes and hopes that we always express that we always pray. For that, the author tries to raise issues related to the role of Islamic religious education in improving good morals.
