Abstract

The application of the joyful learning method in the learning process prioritizes activeness, creativity, pleasant situations, and provides a good emotional impact for students so that they can obtain improved learning outcomes in terms of students' understanding, attitudes and skills. In addition, this study aims: (1) to find out how the learning outcomes of students are before the implementation of the joyful learning strategy in the Al-Quran & Hadith subjects of class X. (2) To find out how the learning outcomes of students are after the implementation of the Al-Quran & Hadith learning strategy using the joyful learning method of class X. (3) To find out whether there is an effect of the implementation of the joyful learning strategy on the learning outcomes of students in the Al-Quran & Hadith subjects using the joyful learning method of class X. The results of this study through the one sample t test showed tcount -4.24 < ttable 1.80, so the implementation of the joyful learning method had no effect on student learning outcomes, although the N gain test was also carried out which described the general increase in learning outcomes between before and after learning showed a result of 0.42, so it was concluded that the general picture of the increase in learning outcomes between before and after the implementation of joyful learning was at a moderate level. The results of the n-gain percentage obtained a result of 42.93%, so the percentage of effectiveness was at a fairly effective level. So this joyful learning method can still be used as an alternative method for teachers in the PAI learning process, especially the Al-Quran & Hadith, in order to arouse enthusiasm and motivation and improve learning outcomes in students. The shortcomings of this study are that this study cannot be maximized due to insufficient learning time.
